Ian was born the day before my nineteenth birthday and when I saw him he was so long and thin and weighed only 6lb 10 oz at 11-40 am.He was such a good and contented baby and was a happy and contented child as he grew up. He had a kind and careing nature and would help anyone who was in need and that shaped the rest of his life. He excelled at school and was a keen footballer supporting Everton with a passion.
